ENplus A1 - Wood Pellet Mill - Turkey
Silvapel presses pine and beech sawdust from certified forestry by-products into ENplus A1 pellets, then ships them to European and Asian biomass buyers on a schedule they can plan around.

01
The mill

Our raw material is sawdust and wood chips - the by-product stream of certified forestry and timber processing. It arrives at the mill already separated by species, which is what makes a consistent calorific value possible in the first place.
Drying, milling, conditioning and pressing happen on one line under continuous moisture control. A batch that drifts outside the ENplus A1 window never reaches the bagging station.
Because storage capacity lets us bag ahead of the season, September-to-March demand spikes do not turn into delivery gaps for the buyers who booked early.
02
Product range
Diameter and packaging change with the burner and the buyer. The quality window does not.

Pine and beech blend for domestic stoves and small boilers. Low ash keeps burner cleaning intervals long across a full heating season.

For larger boilers and biomass plants where throughput matters more than pellet count. Same moisture and durability window as the 6 mm line.

UV-stable PE bags, 65 to a pallet, stretch-wrapped and corner-protected. The retail format for European distributors.

Bulk format for installers and heating cooperatives handling their own decanting. Lifting loops rated for forklift and crane handling.

Technical data
Measured on the current production run. The right-hand column is the ENplus A1 requirement, not our marketing claim.

Values are from the most recent batch analysis. A signed analysis accompanies every shipment, so incoming inspection has a document to check against rather than a claim to trust.

From sawdust to container
Every stage writes a number into the batch record, which is what makes the ENplus certificate auditable rather than decorative.
Sawdust and chips from certified forestry by-product streams, separated by species on arrival and logged against supplier.
Moisture is brought under 8% and held there. Particle size is normalised before the material reaches the press.
Die pressure and temperature are held in a narrow band. Durability is sampled per batch, not per shipment.
15 kg bags palletised and wrapped, or big bags filled and weighed. 24 tonnes to a 40 ft container, sealed at the mill.
05
Where we sit in the window
Meeting ENplus A1 is binary. How much room you leave inside the window is what decides whether a batch still passes after a long sea transit and a humid warehouse.
Room left before the ceiling absorbs transit humidity.
Lower ash means longer intervals between burner cleanings.
Axis narrowed to 95–100; durability differences live in the last two points.
Axis narrowed to 15–19, the practical range for wood pellets.
Meters show the measured value against the ENplus A1 limit. Where the axis is narrowed rather than starting at zero, both endpoints are printed on the scale.
06
Quality and compliance
Buyers receive the signed batch analysis with the shipping documents, so incoming inspection has something to check against.

Catalogue
The catalogue carries the same numbers as this page, in a form your procurement team can attach to an approval request.

Need it in another language, or a version with your company name on the cover? Ask and we will send it.
Tell us the destination port, the format and the monthly volume. You get a specification sheet, a batch analysis sample and a firm FOB or CIF price.
